UNITED LABOUR PARTY.
The District Council of tlie .United Labour party met on Thursday evening. It Was deciilc-d that the matter of building a new Trades Hall be gone on with at an early date. Tho proposed site is not yet disclosed. It is tho intention of the council to hold, an art union in connection with the Labour Day celebrations, and a committee has been .«xst "P- _Ths national secretary-treasurer of tho.United Labour party addressed the meeting and gave an interim report of tho activities of tho party throughout tho Dominion. Ho reported excellent progress.
