It was reported to the Chief Health Oliicor (Dr. Valintine) yesterday 'that a suspected case of smallpox (a male European) had boon discovered in Auckland yesterday morning, and that this "case" had travelled from Palmerston North to Auckland by Wednesday's Main Trunk express, and had been sent to tho isolation hospital in the northern city. Tho Chief Health Ofiicer enjoins all who travelled by that train to bo vaccinated without delay, and this intimation lias also been forwarded to Auckland.
