MR. H. W. KIRKWOOD'S PAINTINGS.
Tho attention of lovers of attractive oil ond water colours is drawn to the auction sale by Mr. H, W. Ifirkwood, tho clever Wangaimi ai-tist, which is to tako placo at tho rooms of Messrs. Win. Tiirnwifll and Co., . Panama Street, at 2.30 p.m. to-day. In addition to tho unsold pictures from tho recent show, Jlr, Kirkwood has forwarded to Wellington three tasteful and delicately-toned paintings, entitled respectively, "Moonlight," "White Wings,'' and "Arrow Bock, Nelson," all from his own original sketches. Some very good'etchings by Mr. Oliver Hall, R.A., are also to be offered for sale this afternoon.
