LEFT NOTE fc DISAPPEARED. THE CLOTHING FOUND. (I!y Telegraph—Prc6s Association.) Cambridge, July 30. A young married woman named Ettie Douglas is supposed to have committed suicide by drowning herself in the Waikato River last night. She left a note informing her husband of her intention to commit suicide, together with instructions to withdraw a sum of money which she has in the Savings Bank. Tlio woman had suffered l'rom an internal complaint for some time past. On making a search the police found her clothing on the bank of the river, and aro now engaged searching for the body. BODY IDENTIFIED. MISSING FOR FOUR YEARS. Palmerston, July 30. The body found on Holiday in tlio Mannwatu Gorge was identified by a "boots" as.that of H. Woodard, formerly a liotelkeeper at Palmerston North and Ashhurst. Deceased has been missing for about four years.
