The games were played in beautifill weather. M'Loughlin beat Dixon, B—G, G—3, G—2. Dixon served with great judgment, and handled M'Louglilin's servico well. In tlio first set both players volleyed magnificently. It was a. fine, even game to "six all." M'Loughlin won the seventh, • after s "deuce." Dixon gave him tho set with a e doublo fault at tho finish. i M'Loughlin's servico in tho socond and tliird sets was practically unplayable., f Although Dixon played gamely, ho was weakened by his exertions in the first set. Tho American held tho whip hand with his service. Tho Parke-Williams round became an 1 exhibition game. Parke won—G—2, 5—7, / 5-7, 6-4, 6-7-2. AUSTRALASIAN ASSOCIATION. , DIVISION OF PROFITS.
