The secretary of the Engineers' Association (which objected to the action of the Union Steam Ship Company of New Zea» land in deducting a half-day's pay from tho wages of the engine-room staff on the Niagara on a Saturday) states that the terms of the Niagara settlement are quite satisfactory to the members of the association.
