RUIN CONFRONTS MEXICAN BANKS.

Mexican reports indicate that ruin is staring the banks in the face, that the finances of tho country are disorganised, and that wholesale anarchy prevails. The American Ambassador reports that the conditions are tho worst possible. UNITED STATES PROTEST. (Eec. July 29. 0.5 a.m.) Washington, July 28. The Government has sent a stronglyworded remonstration . to the Mexican President, demanding the arrest of the men accused of murdering an American citizen.
