They asked for lights on vehicles to bo made compulsory in nil districts, and they asked also that if any legislation dealing with, motor traffic wero introduced tho association should bo given an opportunity to be heard concerning it. The Primo Minister eaid that most of the matters raised by tho deputation had been before Cabinot, but the Cabinet had not come to a decision concerning them. A public lecture on "Man: Tho Templo of God; and the Building of the Temple," will be given in tho Theosophical Society's Hall, Uallanoo Street, at 7 o'clock to-morrow evening by Mr. J, R. Thomson, of Auckland. Another lecture on "Three Ways to God; 11, The Way of Wisdom," 'will l>e grven on Wednesday evening at S o'clock. Messrs. Cole's Drapery Company, Manners Street, announce great reductions today in all ladies' and children's wearing apparel. Messrs. W. H.
