*. (SIX EMPLOYEES BLOWN TO PIECES. By Teleeraph—PrcEo Association—Copyright Montreal, July 24. Nitro-glycerine exploded in the works of the Canadian Explosives Company. Three girls and four men were blown to pieces, and the adjoining town of St. Hilairo suffered heavily. The explosion is believed to have been due to a careless girl employee.
The sale of Messrs. H'Lean Brothers' Makirikiri Estate by Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., Palmorston North, ha,s been indefinitely postponed.
