Leger at "The Village Egg Farm," Weraxoa. Of these 600 were sent away, mostly in fireless brooders. In these, it is reported, they arrived at their destination, safely and in excellent form. Orders, to Mr.' Leger,' came from 'places- as far distant as Westport, Timaru, .. Cambridge, Remuera, and Gisborne. Tho demand for breeding eggs is, Mr. Legor states, more than double that for tho corresponding period of 1912.
