Sim, Taranaki provincial secretary to the Farmers' Union, replies ,na undent—Schools fairly satisfactory. 2.—No. Farmers do not get the returns they should from tlio salo of their pfoducts. 3 and 4.—Railways and roads and postal and telephone services unsatisfactory. 5 and 6— Agricultural 6hows and the work of the Department of Agriculture are of direct benefit. 7.—'Thtero is no satisfactory buying and selling organisation in the district. B.—Renters of farms are not making a satisfactory living. 9.—Labour supply insufficient. 10.—Conditions of labour-are good. 11.—Better means of intercommunication.
