WELSH CHURCH BILL
» REJECTED BY THE LORDS. By Telegraph—Press Association- Copyright London, July 22. The House ofl Lords has rejected tho Welsh Church Disestablishment Bill, by 242 votes to 48. Under tho provisions of the Parliament Act, two years must elapse between the date of the second reading and the final passage of the Welsh Church Bill for the third time by tho House of Commons, after which, oven if rejected a third time by. the House of Lords, it automatically becomes law. The Bill, however, must bo tho same Bill as that which the Commons previously passed.
