[Specially Written for The Doiiinion.] THURSDAY. Pea Soup. Veal Cutlets and Bacon. Potatoes. Turnips. Apple Pudding. APPLE PUDDING. Apples, Jib. flour, a pinch of salt, i teaspoon baking powder, 3 or 4oz. suet, water to mix. Shred and chop the suet very finely, sift tho flour, salt, and baking powder together, rub the suet in well with the tips of tho fingers, mix with water, using a. knife, to make a light dough. Roll out on the floured board. Grease & pudding basin; lino it with tho pastry, hatf-flll with apples peeled and quartered; if tho apples arc dry, add a littlo water; add a tablespoonful sugar, put in the rest of the apples, cover with a lid of pastry, tie firmly in a cloth and boil 1J hours or steam 2 hours. "When done remove the cloth and turn out the pudding on to a hot dish. FOR TO-MORROW. Stock. Celery. One Tin Salmon. Breadcrumbs. Suet. Raisins. Defiance Butter. All Grocers*
