Tho police, warned that there was a projected bomb attack in different parts of tho city, stopped a suspicious-looking motor-car in the line San Vicente. A man threw a bomb, which killed a policeman, and -injured another severely. A basket containing bombs was found in the car. Meanwhile, a party of men attempted to enter the sailors' barracks, and wounded a sentinel. Scores of persons were arrested. Many belong to advanced political groups.
