RATE. | NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Miramar Borough Council, held at the Council Chambers, King's Chambers, Wellington, on the 7th day of July, 1913, it was resolved :— In pursuance and exercise of tho powers vested in it in that behalf by "The Municipal Corporations Act, ISOS," "Tho Local, Bodies Loans Act, 1908," and any Acta amending tho same respectively, and all other Acts, powera, or authorities, nf any vested in it, or ill any wise enabling it in that behalf, tho Miramar Borough Council doth hereby resolvo as follows:— "That for the purpose of providing the interest and sinking fund on a Special Loan of Three thousand pounds (Q3000), authorised to bo raised by the Mirainai Borough Council, under tho above-meu-tioned Acts, for tho purposo of extension of tho Sewerage Schemo now in the course of construction, tho said Miramar Borough Council hereby makes and levies a Special Rato of One-twelfth of a penny in the £ upon tho rateablo value | on the basis of the* Unimproved Value of all rateable property within tho said Borough, comprising tho whole of the said Borough of Miramar, and that such Special Rato shall bo annually recurring during tho currency of such loan, and bo payable half-yearly on the First day of June and tho First day of December in each year and every year during tho currency of 6iich loan, being a period of Twenty-six (26) years, computed from the First day of December, 1912, or until the loan is fully paid off." Tho above resolution will be submitted for confirmation at tho Ordinary Meeting of the Council, to be held on THURSDAY, the 14th day of AUGUST, 1913, at 7.30 p.m., at the Town Hall, Miramar.
