North, report having a small entry of stock at their Palmerston' North, sale on Thursday, which sold as follows:—Light fat ewes, 16s. 6d.: empty cows, £3 4s. to £i 75.; year bulls, to £3 155.; backward dairy cows, £4 10s. Tho Now Zealand Loan audi Mercantile Agency Co. report:—At Levin on Friday wo had » medium entry which sold well at the following rates :Fat owes, to 175.; store cows, £4; backward cows in, calf,l £4 to £4 155.; dairy cows, £5 10s. to £6 18s.: empty hoifers, £3;light fait cows, £6 15s. Tho Now Zealand 'Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., Palmerston! North, report:—At Palmerston North on Thursday we had a fair entry of both sheep and cattle, and have to report a, good clearance at tho following prices:—Cattle: Store cows, £2 10s. to £2 12s. 6d.; heifers, in calf, £5; cows in calf. £4 7s. 6d. to £4 lCs.; springing cows, £5 10s. to £6 10s.; fat cows, £6 ss. to £6 6s. i aged cows, £1 16s. to £1 17s. 6d. Sheep: Romnoy owes, in lamb to Borancy rams. 16s. Bd.; store ewes, 7s. 7d.; forward ewes, lis. 9d.; small hoggets, Bs. Bd.
