FINAL AWARDS AT LEVIN. (By Toletrdph.—Special OorreepondcnM Lovin, July 18. The competitions concluded yesterday Tho judges, Messrs; H. S. Claughton (mustctul) and J. Culfonl 801 l (elocutionary) complimented tho town and district on tlio general quality of competitors' efforts, Mr. Claughton stated that many of the competitors, vocalists especially, would do well at tho leading competitions in the Dominion. Tho total entries were close on 1)00, and of these over 250 competed. This is a marked lead on last year*, figures.
