PUBLIC NOTICES. yACCI'NATION. In view of tho existence of smallpox in Sydney and of cases of suspected smallpox in the North Island of New Zealand, tho Department of- Public Health urges every person to take advantage of tho protection' afforded by vaccination. Vaccination is performed free of charge to the public by the Publio Vaccinators, a list of whom, in the Wellington, Hawke's ; Bay, Nelson-Marlborough Health Districts is'given below. Owing to an impression existing amongst some people that arm-to-arm vaccination is still practised, the Department assures tho public that such is prohibited by law in this Dominion, and that only pure ca.lt lymph is used. In the City of Wellington Public Vaccinators will be in attendance at the Offices of the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board in Marion Street between the hours of from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. daily until further notice. -HERBERT CHESSON, District Health Officer.
