ONSLOW COUNCIL.

Tho Onslow Borough Council met last evening, tho Mayor (Mr. F. Holdsworth) presiding. Councillors B. Lynneberg, J. C. Gardner, L. A. Browne, C. Munro, It. A. Nicol, A. H. Hoby, E. C. Alderson, 1). Munro, and C. Bowtlen were also present. In connection with tho proposed unproved grado of access to IChandallah from ICaiwarra, it was decided to instruct tho engineer to mako it trial survey of the ground with an Abnev level. On the motion of Councillor Lynneberg, tho question of moving the borough offices from the city to within tho borough boundary was deferred for tho present. A deputation of three ratepayers of Imlay Crescent waited on the council in regard to surface water trouble on the crescent. Mr. IT. Eardslev asked the council if they could metal the crescent, and thus prevent damage being done to properties. The Mayor said that as the crescent was not a public street the council had no jurisdiction.
