GUN TRIALS TOO'SEVERE.
THE AUSTRIAN DREADNOUGHT •DAMAGED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Vienna, July 16. Tho Austrian Dreadnought Tegetthoß has been damaged during her gun trials. It was reported yesterday that an order had been given to place tho Austrian Dreadnought Tegotthoff in commission. Tho vessel, which was laid down in 1910 and launched on March 12 of last year, is the second of tho four battleships of the Virihis Unitis class. She has a displacement of 20,000 tons, and mounts twelyc 12-inch guns,,in, four turrets on tho middle-line, so' placed that six can fire astern and six ahend, and the wliolo twelve on tho broadside.
