A Court Circular anonncingthobotrothal of Princo Arthur of Connaught and Princess Alexandra of Fife, mentions that His Majosty the King gladly gave his consent. The newspapers are warmly congratulatory. Prince Arthur, it is said, is persona grata in tho chief capitals of the world, while Her Royal Highness is described as one of the richest women in England.
