.LABOUR PARTY'S DEMAND. By Telegraph—Pms Association—Copyright London, July 15. The Labour Party's Executive has passed a resolution, that it is essential that the Government should grant Parliament time to discuss the use of troops in Johannesburg on the authority of the Governor-General (Viscount Gladstone). (Sydney "Sun" Special—July 16, 7.20 p.m.) London, July 16. The Prime Minister (Mr. Asquith), replying in the House of Commons to a question by Mr. Keir ffardie, said that an opportunity . would be afforded tho House of discussing Viscount Gladstone's action in connection with the employment of Imperial troops during the Rand strike during the consideration of tho Colonial Vote. He refused to specify a day.
