ARRIERS.
The Cfcntral Harriers decided a 21-mile handicap race from the old golf House, Miramar, yesterday. Out of eleven entries, only seven men faced the starter. 13. Aldridge (85sec.) lied from the start, followed closely by Myers (63sec.), and Duck (50sec.). This order was maintained for half tho distance, when Rutledge took the lead, owing'' to Aldridgo and Duck missing the trail. On reaching the 2-mile post, Rutledge was still in the lead, closely followed by Aldridge, Mulcahy, Burrell, and Poynton. ( At this point the scratch men took a hand in making the pace, Burrell going to the front, with Mulcahy close at his he»ls. A good finish ended in Mulcahy winning by a fow yards from Burrell, Rutledge being third. The times are as followM. Mulcahy (lOsec.), actual time, 12min. 47sec., 1; P. L.
