ARBOR DAY PROGRAMME. nrVHE following is the official programmo A for Arbor Day, TO-DAY (WEDNESDAY), Trees and shrubs have been supplied by tlio Council, to the following Schools:-— Maranui, Island Bay, Kilbirnie, Newtown, Brooklyn, Roseneath, Mitchelltown, Jit. Cook Boys', Jit. Cook Girls', Mt. Cook Infants', and Terrace. The principal ceremony will take place at Section 18, Town Belt, which the Public are specially invited to attend. Tho Section lies about *100 yards soutli of Victoria College, and access to same is obtained from Kelburne Parade through the cutting (or via Salamanca Road and Kelburne Parade). Tho itinerary of His Worship tho Mayor, the. Chairman of the 1 Reserves Committee, and Members of the Council for the day is as under: — s Kilbirnie School, 9.15 a.m. Roseneath School, 10- o'clock. Section -18, Town Belt, 11 o'clock.
