The monthly meeting of the Wellington Insurance Institute was held at tho Underwriters' Ilcnuis last evening. Boforo commencing tho business of the evening, tho president (Mr. F. C. Gray) remarked on tho loss which the profession had received through the death of Mr. J. G. Rc-so. A motion of sympathy with the relatives was passed. Ten new members wero elected. Dr. E. tV. Giesen delivered a lecture on "Malingering," and a full discussion of the paper ensued.
