Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Freeman and Mis 9 Bessio C. Bowdon, of Christchurch, left last week for South. Mr. Hamilton is making inquiries with' regard to educational matters, in which lie is interested as chairman of the South Canterbury Education Board. Mr. and Mrs. J. Wntkinson, of Auckland, and their son, aro at present in Loudon. Mr. Watkinson has been appointed a delegato to the Primitive Methodist Conference, which meets in Derby iu June, and will later go oil to Zurich for the World's Sunday School Convention, where lie will represent tlio Methodist Church of New Zealand, and also tlio Auckland Sunday School Union. Mr. Wntkinson, junr., is also in London, and leaves shortly for Sheffield, Blackpool, and Bristol.
