PUBLIC NOTICES. lit ■y A C C I N A T I O N. i In view of the existence of smallpox in Sydney and of cases of suspcoted smallpox in tlio North Island of New Zealand, tho Department of Public Health urges every person to take .advantage of the protection afforded by vaccination. Vaccination is performed free of chargo to tho public by tho Public Vaccinators, a list of whom, in the Wellington, Hawke's Bay, Nelson-Marlborough Health Districts is given lielow. Owing to an impression existing aniongst some people that arm-to-arm vagcination is still practised, tlio Department assures the public that such is prohibited by law in this Dominion, and that only puro calf lymph is used. In tha City of Wellington Public Vaccinators will bo in attendance at tho Offices of - tho Hospital and Charitable Aid Board in Marion Street between tho hours of from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. daily until further notice.
