A Richmond (England) milkman, who delivered at a working-class home a scaled bottle .of milk, labelled "Pure Fresh Milk," and described as nursery milk, which was found to be 35 por cent, deficient in milk fat, was fined ,£2O, tho maximum penalty, tho magistrate remarking that the milk was bought bv poor people, probably for a child, under tho impression that it was particularly nourishing.
