King George and Queon Mary, during llieir motoring tour through Lancashire, have been received everywhere with great enthusiasm. Queen Mary alighted at soveral cottages, and chatted with the inmates. Their Majesties afterwards dined at Hoghton Tower, Cliorley, where, accord, ing to a discredited story, King James I knighted a loin' of beef "with tho title, Sir Loin, (heuco tho sirloin of the domestic commissariat).
