NATIONAL BALLOT FALLS FLAT. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, July 9. Owing to the small interest shown with reference to the national ballot on the question of an eight hours' day in all industries, the Parliamentary Committee of-the Trades Unions Congress has abandoned the national movement, and leaves each federation to act separately.
