Kulm have been forced into tho hand" <<f receivers owing to tho failure of the Hrst-named bank to open its doors yesterday morning. Tliero is no excitement A run on tho Savings Bank prevails* but tho bank has plenty of cash and qniick assets. Tho situation is not thought; to bo serious. A STATE INVESTIGATION. (Rec. July 10, 1.20 a.m.) New York, July 9. Tho United States Attorney-General (Mr. M'Reynolds) will be asked to investigate certain alleged irregularities in connection with the failure of tho Second National Bank at Pittsburg.
