BROOKLYN GLEE CLUB.
A concert was given by the Brooklyn Glee and Orchestral Club in -the Hall, Brooklyn, on Tuesday evening. Tho glees and orchestral items were well rendered,. Solos were given by Misses I. Snelling, and D. Johnstone, and Mr. O'Connor; recitations by Miss Evans and Messrs. M'Clcllan and Weston; and violin solos by Messrs. M'Phun and Walker. A quartet was also given by Messrs. Bennett (2), Coventry, and Campbell. During the evening Mr. Blake reminded tho audience that tlio club was in existence solely for tho purpose of rendering aid. to deserving cases which como under its notice, and also that a benefit concert would bo given on behalf of tho M'Crao family in St. James's Hall, Adelaide Road, on July 18.
