This week's direct boat from Sydney—tho Manuka—left the New South Wales port for Wellington on Saturday, sailing at 1 p.m. Her berth list includes 59 saloon passengers and 41 steerage. The steamer also has 640 tons of cargo for this port. SUFFOLK REFORTED. Outward bound from Liverpool to Wellington, tho F, and S. steamer Suffolk left Durban, in continuation of her voyage, on Juno 27. She is to call at Hobart and Auckland, and is due hero on August 1. TYRONE LEFT LIYEEPOOL. On Saturday last the F. ancl K. steamer Tyrono left Liverpool for Durban, Melbourne, Sydney. Auckland. Wellington, and Duncdin. She is due here on September 15. NOTICE TO MARINERS. Tho Secretary for Marine (Mr. G. Allport) states that the cablc buoy, which was floated one mile S.W. of Oterangi Bay Point, by Captain Post, of the Tutanekai. a week ago, has disappeared. Apparently tho buoy was accidentally carried away, by some steamer. In coneenuence, the Tutanekai has floated another buoy li miles W.S.W/ of Oterangi Bay Point, and masters of vessels arc advised to keep clcnr. WESTPOItT COAL RETURNS. The following statistics regarding the output and export of coal, output of timber, and shipping at tho port of Westport for tho month of June is supplied by the secretary of the Wostport Harbour Board:— Westport Coal Co.:—Output: 55.619 tons export, 55,610 tone. Westport-Stockton Coal Co.:—Output, 10,091 toils: export, 9931 tons. State Coal Mines:—Output: 6164 tons- enport, 5932 tons. Total output, 72,105 tons: total export, 71,793 tons. Of the total amount. 2849 tons wero shipped to foreign ports, viz.: to Matupi. per Martha Bocklinlin, 1147 tons; to Fiji, per Navua. 498 toiw; to Melbourne, ner Kaiapoi, 539 tons: and per Katoa, 665 tons. Tho export of timber for the month was 125,679 sup. feet. During tho month 100 steamers add two Bailers (roprcaentins 58,863 tons) entered the port, and 96 steamers and 4 sailers (representing 57.788 tons) loft tho port. Total tonnage, 116,651 tons. Tho ftrwaru, which is at present takine in Homo cargo on tho Now Zealand coast, is duo at Wellington to-morrow from Lyttelton, to complete. She sails finally for London on Saturday. The next steamer to leave New York, nnder charter to the F. and S. Line, will bo the Northern, which sails on July 20, for Melbourne, Sydney, and Jsew Zealand ports. Mr. J. Knox has joined tlio coastal steamer Opawa as first mate, vice Mr. G. B. Brown. Both the steamer Mancapapa and tlio auxiliary scow Echo, were loading timber at Karamoa yesterday. They are expected to leave to-day for Wellington. Advices have been received to the effect that the U.S. and A.S. eteamer Rheinfels was dispatched from Now York on Juno 27 for Melbourne, Sydney, and New Zealand ports; also that the s.s. Moltkefelshas been delayed, and will not take the brth for Australian ports until July 20. Tho coastal steamer Kahu arrives to-day from East Coast ports. Sho will be laid up for annual overhaul. The coastal eteamer Mana comes off tho Evans Bay Patent Slip to-day. Captain West has succeeded Captain Beck . as master of tho Tyser liner Star of ScotI land, now en route to Australian and Now Zealand ports with cariro shipped at New York, under the auspices of the A. and A. Line. R.M.S. Athenio left Monte Video on Thursday afternoon last. She is en routo from Wellington •to London.
