Mr. J. G. Richards, of Wellington, has been advised that his eon, Dr. Joan F. 0. Richards, who went Homo to study medicine, six years ago, has gained his M.8., B.S. degrees, lie is at present on tho staff of house Burgeons at Guy's Hospital, London. Dr. Richards was educated at the To Aro School, Wellington College, and tho Victoria University.

The living of Helnisley (England), vacant by the death of tlio Rev. C. N. Gray, has been offered to and accepted by the Rot. H. E. Newton, Cliaplnm of Cuddesdon Theological College. The new vicar has had tJio advantago of having worked abroad, being at ono timo vicar of Ross, in tho Dioeeso of Christchurch, Now Zealand.
Medical certificates forwarded by Bishop Crossley, accompanying his resignation of tho Auckland See, show that lie is suffering from a complete nervous breakdown, mental and physical, duo to overwork, and that ho requires twelve to eighteen months' rest to save liis life.—Press Association.
The annual report of tho Wellington Fox Terrier Club expresses pleasure at the return to Now Zealand of Mr. It. Trigss (now ono of tho Civil Service Commissioners). Mr. Triggs formerly took a keen interest in tho activity of this and other "similar clubs.
