GRAND CHALLENGE CUP. By Telegiaph—Pres3 AB3oclat.ion-Ooi>yriElit London, July 3. At the Henloy Royal Regatta, tho Leander Rowing Club beat Canada in tho first round of tho Grand Challenge Cup. M'Villey, of Tasmania, beat Salier by five lengths in tho Diamond Sculls heat. Tho time was Bmin. iOsec. Sydney (New South Wales) Rowing Club won the Challenge Cup last year, defeating tho Leander Club.
