[Specially Written for The Dominion.] FRIDAY. Lentil Soup, Baked Stuffcil Schnapper. Mashed Potatoes. Cauliflower. Jam Holy I'oly Pudding. Sweet Sauce. LENTIL SOUP. Ono pint lentils, 1 onion, 1 carrot, 2 stalks celery if liked, 4 pints slock, pepper aud salt to taste, a little mint. Have the lentils well washed aud soaked overnight; prepare and slice the other vegetables roughly; simmer with the lentils in the stock until tender—it will take about one hour; rub through a sieve, bring up to the boil, and season to taste; serve with neatly-cut sippets of fried bread. for To-Moinow.
