.J SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Present indications are for a further fall in the barometer, but a temporary riee is probable in the south after about sixteen hours. ■ Cloudy and unsettled weather, with* rain, is probable generally, and snow on hither levels. Hieh northerly and westerly winds prevailing, and changing to southerly. The barometer has fallen everywhere, and: northerly winda have increased, strong to sale, in parts. Shannon, July 2.—Fino morning; rain started to fall at midday Otaki, July 2.—Occasional heavy showers.
