Ono and a half pints water, jib. tapioca, 6 cooking apples, a few raisins, loz. butter, a little sugar, cloves. Soak the tap it, c a overnight in lialf-pint water, pour the rest of the water over it aha boil until it is nearly done. Peel the apples thinly, cut out the cores with a cutter, put 2 clovcs in each, and place in a buttered piodish. Put the stoned raisins in the holes left by the cores. Sprinkle a little sugar over, and cover -with the tapioca, and bake for about an hour. This pudding con also be made with sago. FOB TO-MORROW. Liquor the mutton was boiled in. Cold meat. Marmalade.
