The Coalition Government's defence proposals include tho construction of a fort near Flushing at an estimated cost of 5,360,000 florins (.£446,666), the strengthening of tho ordnanco. of tho fortresses already existing at tho Hook of Holland, Ymuiden, and Harssens, necessitating an outlay of 730,000 florins, and tho carrying out of certain improvements at Fort Kylcduin, upon which ..a sum of 4,760,000 flaring is to be spent.
