TO-DAY'S DINNER.
[Specially Written for The Dominion.] MONDAY. Vermicelli Soup. Curried Mince. Potatoes. Cabbage. Chocolate Tart. CHOCOLATE TAUT. One cupful of liot water, 1 tablcspoonful of cornflour, 2 tablespooniuls of sugar, 1 tnblespoonful of grated chocolate, 1 teatspoonful of vanilla, loz. butter, 2 eggs, pastry, a little lemon juice. Line a tart plate with good flaky pastry, and bake. Make a mixture as follows:—Put the water on to boil, add the cornflower and chocolate, mixed to a smooth paste, with a little cold water. Let it cook for a few minutes. Add the butter, beaten yolks of eggs (mixed with the sugar), and vanilla. Pour into the tart case. Beat the whites of eggs to a still' froth, add 2 tablespooniuls of icing sugar, a teaspoonful of lemon juice, and a few drops of vanilla. Pour this over tho chocolate mixture, and return to the oven until a pale brown. FOR TO-MORROW. Carrots, stock, sausages, batter, spinach, prunes, rice, cream. Defiance Butter. All Grocers*
