MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

(Before Mr. W. G. Riddell, S.M.) A fifteen minutes' sitting of tho Magistrate's Court was held on Saturday morning. William Lynluirst, who was deemed to be an idle and disorderly person, wna sentenced to three f months' imprisonment. May Gibbons, who escaped from the Salvation Army Home, to which sho had been sent by the Court, was ordered to return to tire institution. For insobriety, Amy M'Donald was fined sa, Eiizabeth Kempton 10s., William Reginald Yorke 10s., Thomas Lewis Gardener .€l, Martin Samuelson, £2, Edward Mohan £1, and John Patrick Coylo wa3 sentenced to one month's imprisonment. . For having used certain language, Robert M'Kay Ferrie and John Lecl were each fined £1.
