MAY STOCK EXPORTS.
A LIGHT MONTH. Stock exports from tho Dominion for tho month-of May were comparatively light, and practically tho whole ot tho trade' that was done was with tho'Pacific Islands. 11l all 254 sheep, 89 head of cattle, 56 pigs, and 4 horses went to tho Islands, and Australia took 91 sheep, 61 horses and 5 head of cattle. Tho principal port of shipment was Auckland, which was responsible for all the sheep, pigs, and cattle, as well as eight horses. Tiro Wellington contribution was ojio horse, two head of cattle, and 20 sheep. Particulars of the horses shipped are as under:—3 thoroughbred geldings and one mare, 3 draught stallions, .13 dTaught colts, 30 draught mares, 9 draught geldings, 5 hackney mares, 1 trotting gelding, 1 Shetland pony mare.
