'The Y.M.C.A. Gymnasium Hall vrag crowded with interested spectators last night for the open display by senior and junior members of tho classes. The programmo submitted, illustrating various phases of tho work, was a capital 0110, find the smart', prompt manner in which everything was carried out was a fine tribute to tho discipline ami interest shown by the performers. A feature of tho display was the apparatus'work by members of tho men's class, this l>eing specially good in the coso of tho horizontal and parallel bars and Roman rings. In tho open item fi large squad of men, covering the whole of Hip floor ctMco, gave an exhibition of Swedish drill. Tlio effect of the items given by the Indies' class was heightened by the pretty costumes worn, and the graceful manner in which tho exerciscs were performed, Tho club-swinging and red-drill wero cnp< itally iloivo and reflected great crcdit cn all concerned. Two items were included by squads from the boys' irnd girls' classes. The boys showed to great advantage in their dumb-bell drill, and tho girls gave a very pretty display. In tho interval betvwn the two parts of tho programme, Mr. C. N. Reward, tho physical director, gave a clever display with Indian clubs.
