ANOTHER BREAK-DOWN REPORTED. BOILERS DEFECTIVE. By Telegraph—Preas Association—Copyright (Rec. June 28, 6.40 p.m.) Sydney, Juno 2G. News hag teen received that tho warship Torch, which recently sailed for tho Islands, after an overhaul at Sydney, arrived at Noumea with her boilers in a defectivo condition. It transpires that tho hurried departure of H.M.S. Pyramus from New Zealand was duo to tho warship being ordered to Noumea for tho purpose of assisting in the repairs to H.M.S. Torch, and inquiring into tho cause of the breakdown. MENDING A CRIPPLE. London, June 25. In the House of Commons, Mr. Churchill (First Lord of the Admiralty), in reply to a question, stated that tho principal repairs to H.M.S. Psyche (which was recently alleged to have been put to 6ea in an unseaworthy oondition), consisted of a large renewal of tho upper deck, and repairs to frames, bottom plating, poop, forecastle, cranks, and boiler casings. ,
