WELLINGTON PRESBYTERY.
CALL TO REV.'R. INGLIS. A meeting of the Presbytery of Wellington was held yesterday, the Rev. A. Randerson, of Levin, presiding. The Rev. W. Shircr (clerk) stated that the meeting was called to consider the call from Knox Church, Parnell, Auckland, addressed to tho Rov. R. Inglis, Onslow. In support of the call the meeting heard tho Rov. J. Kennedy Elliott Mid the Rev. A. Thomson, commissioners on behalf of the Presbytery of Auckland. Messrs. M'Crae, Smith, and Clark, commissioners from the congregation of Onslow, were also hoard. The Eer. W. Shirer moved "that the call be now placed in tho hands of the Rev. R.. Inglis." Thi9 was seconded by Dr. Gibb and earned. Tho Rev. J. Gibson Smith and Mr. Patterson (elder of Onslow) joined the others present in expressing appreciation of the personal worth of the Rev. R. Inglis and the earnest work done by him in the chargc of Onslow. The Rev. Mr. Inglis stated that he had decided to . accept the call. The Rev. Dr. Gibb, the Rer. J. Gibson Smith, and Mr. W. M. Hannay wero appointed a committee to draw up a resolution in connection with Mr. Inglisi's removal. The Rev. J. Gibson Smith was appointed to act as Moderator during the vacancy.
