J TSpecially Written for Tun Dominion.] I THURSDAY. Rice soup. Roast shoulder o{ mutton. Onion sauce. Potatoes. Cabbage. Bird's nest pudding. BIRD'S NEST PUDDING. A pint and a lialf of water, J ,lb. tapioca (a pood half flip), G cooking apples, a few rnisims, loz. butter, a littla sugar, cloves. Soak tiro tapioca for some hours in half a pint of water; pour t.lie ro.-t of the water over it, and boil unfil'it is nearly cooked. Peel the apples thinly, cut out tho cores with a core-cutter, put 2 cloves in each, and place them in a buttered piedish. Put stoned raisins in tlio holes left by tho cores. Sprinkle a littlo supir over, cover with tho tapioca, and b;iko about half an hour. TOR TO-MORROW. 11 Half pint split peas (soaked overnichtt. H Stock. Schnapper. Forcemeat. Suet. H Raisins.
