MOTOR-CYCLING.
The flexibility liill climb conducted by the Wellington Motor-cycling Club ou Saturday afternoon, being the first of a new series of competitions for the cup presented to the club by Messrs. Sutherland and Rankine for week-end events, was a decided success. The venue of the climb was Tavistock and Sutherland Roads, Maranui. the competitors being required to climb the first-named road as fast as possible and' then, without stopping, to climb the latter road as slow as possible, the rider whose time between the fast anil slow climbs showed tlia greatest difference being declared the winner. Fifteen entries wero received, but only four competitors succeeded in reaching the hill-top, the others failing in tho slow climb through misjudging the severity of tho grade.
