AUSTRALIA'S MEAT TRADE.
MISUNDERSTOOD AT WASHINGTON. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright San Francisco, June 20. The Australian meat interests have telegraphed to Washington two extracts from newspapers, backed up by representations from leading local meat men, with, the result that tho Department of Agriculture has explained that the order discriminating against Australian shippers was due to a misunderstanding.
