MOTOR-CYCLING.

This afternoon's competition, to be held by the Wellington- Motor Cycling Club, will be a flexibility hill climb on Tavistock and Sutherland Roads. The competitors will bo required to rido tho first part of the hill as fast as possible, and tho. latter part as slow as possiblo, tho rider to be declared tho winner whose time between the fast and slow climbs shows the greatest difference. Tho use of change-speed and clutches Is barred, and any rider touching tho road with either, foot in the slow climb will bo considered to have failed. This'is the first of a new series of competitions for tho Sutherland and Eankine Cup, and every motor cyclist is invited to compete. Tho competitors are requested to meet at the Maranui School at 2.30 p.m.
