IVfOTICE is liereby given that it is tho -Lv intention of the Wellington', City Council to introduce in the present Session of • Parliament the Wellington City Empowering and Amendment Bill. • The objocts that the said Bill is intended- to affect are: To amend Section 7 of "Tho Wellington City Empowering Act, 51897," by conferring on the. Wellington City Corporation the, further ers as .under:—. * ' '• ' -: Section' 7 of the Wellington City Empowering Act, 1897, is hereby amended by adding to such Section the following new sub-section 2:— " ~ (2) (a) Where tho Corporation and any owner of any land subject to any lease or other limited estate or interest or of any leasehold estate or of other limited estate or interest in land jhave under Section 27 of "The Public Works, Act, 1908, entered into a sufficient agreemeijt for the taking of sucli owner's estate or interest I putsuant to the powers granted by sub- ! section (1) hereof the Corporation shall bo entitled to tho issue of a proclamation vesting tho estate or interest of such owner in the Corporation.
